As part of a nationwide grass-roots campaign to build a loyal following for the Hennessy brand, Hennessy aimed to simulate interest through Virtual Reality, specifically, a Virtual Reality Tour of how its cognac is made. These Virtual Reality Tours were given along with actual beverage tastings at hundreds of sites across the United States.

  • DEFINE THE REQUIREMENTS

    Vertex/Conversa worked closely with the liquor company’s marketing organization to understand its overall goals for this project. Once goals were established, hardware selection began, a timeline was created and work began on getting the tour embedded in a secure environment within the device. From there, Vertex/Conversa worked to recommend hardware and customization opportunities within the device, and finally, created a project timeline.

  • CUSTOMIZED & PRODUCTIZED

    Vertex/Conversa removed functionality which was superfluous to the solution, including incoming/outgoing calls, SMS, games and un-needed apps. Vertex/Conversa then deployed custom application launchers, branding and browser bookmarks required for the solution. From there, Vertex/Conversa created a user-friendly, out-of-box experience, and developed training for the professionals running the demos.
